If you are sitting A-Level Biology, Chemistry, or Physics as a private candidate, you will need to complete the Science Practical Endorsement alongside your written exams.
What Is the A-Level Science Practical Endorsement?
The Practical Endorsement requires you to complete a series of assessed laboratory practicals. You will receive either a Pass or a Not Classified result.
Why Does the Practical Endorsement Matter?
Many leading UK universities require a Pass as a condition of their offers. A fail can result in a university offer being withdrawn.
Which Exam Boards Require the Practical Endorsement?
AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR, and Cambridge International all require the Practical Endorsement for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
How Can Private Candidates Complete It?
London Exam Centre offers full Practical Endorsement sessions at our equipped laboratory in Stratford. View details and book here.
